6 ink system with dual printheads

The Designjet T2300 range provides 6 ink cartridges (cyan, grey, magenta, matte black, photo black, yellow).  All inks are dye based except the matte black ink, which is pigment based.  Inks are available in 2 sizes;  

69ml  Magenta, Photo Black, Yellow, Cyan, Grey (all inks except Matte Black) 
130ml  Cyan, Grey, Magenta, Matte Black, Photo Black, Yellow (all inks)
300ml  Matte Black (Matte Black only)

Printheads are supplied in dual colours comprising: Matte Black & Yellow, Magenta & Cyan, Grey & Photo Black

Designjet T2300 PostScript (PS) Option

The PostScript option allows you to easily process complex files, create portable document formats (PDF's), automate manual processes, support PostScript, PDF, TIFF and JPEG files - accommodating large, complex files and multiple graphic design applications, and create emulations of HP Professional PANTONE colours. This helps speed up the printing process by giving you the ability to queue and print PDF files without ever opening the file and be able to count upon your largest PDF and PostScript files to travel swiftly over the network without complication. For example, unlike the non-postscript model you will be able to select and send 10 x PDF files to the printer and have them print without ever viewing them. This can be a real time saving attribute if you deal with a lot of PDF files over an average working week - and the additional cost at the outset is outweighed by future long term time-saving benefits.
