Printer Service/Repairs orders

Back to FAQ's

I need to reach your Engineering Department

Please call us on 01256 783390 or email engineering@hpplotter.co.uk

Can I have an engineer today?

Sometimes it's possible to have a same day response, and where this is possible an additional charge will apply. However generally we advise that our engineer will attend 1-2 days from date of order placed. To speed up the process please ensure that you reply to our emailed Repair Estimate before 3:30pm, including all requested information

Where parts are likely to be required on site, you should opt for a timed delivery to give us the best chance of our engineer attending site the same afternoon. (If you opt for Standard next day delivery of parts, then it is more likely that the engineer will attend site the day following your parts delivery). If you prefer we can attend site without parts and revisit with parts those parts required so that you have an engineer attend site more quickly, but this is not normally the most cost effective route

Parts have arrived...what do I do next?

We have shipped out the parts to you in readiness for our attending engineer. Please contact us as soon as the parts have arrived so that we can advise the attending engineer that they can proceed ASAP. Under no circumstances must you open the parts package - only the attending engineer may open it. If parts are found to be defective, broken or missing and the package has been opened or tampered with, then you will be billed for those parts

Parts haven't arrived with us yet?

If you have organised a standard delivery then Citylink may deliver the parts anytime up to 5:30pm.  They are unable (and unwilling) to provide tracking prior to 4:30pm for these orders so if you call us before this time then we have to wait until 4:30pm before we can check on the delivery status. However if there is obviously a problem, please contact us immediately so that we can track what has happened to your delivery

When is your engineer going to arrive with us?

If we have scheduled your call for today then our engineer will be phoning you during the course of the day and advising you of his ETA just before he sets out for your call. However if you would like an update and want to check everything is proceeding as planned, then please feel free to give us a call. We'll be happy to give you an update
